UNACEM carried out more than 23 thousand visits in family health campaigns

As part of its Social Responsibility and commitment to neighboring communities, UNACEM carried out six health campaigns in Villa María del Triunfo, Villa El Salvador and Pachacámac between May, June and July. In total 23,350 care was taken in various specialties such as: general medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, obstetrics, dentistry, physical therapy, nutrition, among others. In addition, laboratory tests for anemia and diabetes were carried out, as well as Pap tests, whose risk cases will be followed in the health facilities of each zone.


In addition, participants learned how to take care of their health and that of their families through four educational modules: “Children without anemia”, “Healthy and productive adults”, “Healthy communities” and “Healthy environment” . In the last 03 campaigns, a deworming module was included in coordination with the health sector, within the framework of the National Deworming Campaign, as one of the strategies to reduce anemia in Peru.

These campaigns were carried out by the Association UNACEM, Social Responsibility organization, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, Pacífico Seguros, ONG ADRA, ONG CARE, RENIEC, Educational Institutions and the important participation of a human group of volunteers.
